i'm baaack! hehs. even though i only went for two days to Kuantan, Malaysia. climbing to the top of a tall hill at 5am without breakfast was no joke. i woke up at like 3.40am. after climbing one flight of long steps at the beginning, i was panting like mad. to make it worse, the person leading was the track and field teacher, who went so up so fast, we reached the top much earlier. in front of me were 2 girl guides, who had the experience of climbing hills, so they were fast. at the end, i had to lug myself each flight of steps, by holding the railings, and literally pulling myself up- all just to watch the sunrise. it wasn't spectacular. i couldn't stare at the sun, so the most i could do was to look at the rising sun for a few seconds. when i looked away, then the sun moved up.
the waterfalls were fun. the caves were kinda boring. there were way too many shopping trips. 4 times! journeys between locations were too long. i can't say that i enjoyed my trip fully though, but thanks to friends who made it so much more fun. lisa, regina, sangeerna, christine and deanna. thanks!
on the way to kuantan, i was listening to pastor prince's tapes. one of them titled 'The Beauty of Living in the Cycle of God's Love'. it just spoke to me. it was so good, that i listened twice - immediately after it finished, i listened again, which is the first time i'm doing this actually. and the holy spirit told me, 'noticed, Pastor Joseph Prince didn't say joseph, the one whom he loves, but he said, the pastor whom jesus loves. Likewise, say you're the MM whom jesus loves.' of course, this sermon may not be such an impact on other people, because when i was deciding which tapes to bring for the trip when i was packing my bag, i felt a strong jerk in my heart, and i knew God was specifically telling me to bring that tape.
it seems even my third week of the hols wasn't as free as i had thought it would be.

omg! mapping out my schedule has made me realised, i have no time whatsoever to do my homework! still got maths and english. and the CD recording has been changed. a piece must now be 4-5 mins long, and you must not repeat the song more than twice or thrice. which means, i'll have to redo my composition again. not to mention i have to set aside days to cut out and laminate the nametags before camp. this is serious. i think i'll have to sacrifice some of my social life. whatever. lord, multiply my time. grace is you resting inwardly and God doing. grace is you doing little, spending little time doing something, but the end result is that you manage to do something that would have taken lotsa time.
