Saturday, June 17, 2006 ; anthem of love
just looking back at my years in the youth ministry.
from praise kids to teenzeal.
from teenzeal town to dare(meaning dead and resurrected eagles),
from UIC(united in christ), which changed it's name to overcomers,
to GI(god intoxicated) to Christ R Us,
to Super D, then i got transfered to Huper.
from nobody knowing me, to me now being an MM(mighty man.. actually sld be woman.)
from No Greater Love camp, to Evangelion, to Adventure Camp 1,
to Encounter Jesus camp 1, and now to Adventure Camp 2.
from the Suntec City convention floors to The Rock's 6th floor overflow room,
from Sundays 9am then Saturdays 1pm and now, Saturdays 3pm
from the floor vibrating just cos everyone was jumping in teenzeal,
to the sound of the gym weights being dropped on the floor, now in dare (cos planet fitness is above 6th floor)
from the times spent in christon's house for cg, to the now quiet and rare daregroup sessions, even though we are about twice bigger.
from the 3 times a month youth meetings, then the last week is caregroup, to the now twice a month youth meetings, on the first and third week.
from the enthusiastic spirit to the shy, awkward you-do-first-then-i-follow spirit.
abigail, allicia, valerie, michele, jeanette, sherry, charis, dawn. i miss you guys loads! really hope you guys will come to dare. the teenzeal town times were unforgettable. and delight too! i really hope to see you soon.
Evangelion changed my life and has so far always been my best camp ever. looking back at how much i've grown, i thank him. i thank him for being so gracious to me. thank you for your favour upon my life. i'd not have made it through all these, without you, my God. this year so far has no doubt been great. i can go so far to say, it's the best year of my life. thank you lord.
