i could have gone for the potbless can! urgh. heard from nick it was better than the last time and there was soo much good food, that jer's chocolate fondue wasn't eaten.
sunday was good =) i was suppose to meet katie at the dare counter, to go for lunch with coach joy, but i was late and i met them on my way to meeting them. haha. we walked two rounds in B1, trying to decide where to eat, when it was only 11 plus! we couldn't decide, until coach joy asked me, 'charmaine, where do u wanna eat.' so of course i said kenny rogers :D we nuahed there for 45 mins, tearing BK vouchers and trying to piece them back. quote from coach, 'tearing is therapeutic'. katie asked coach joy about keyboards, and coach joy was also telling us all about playing the keyboards and leading worship and stuff. these are the things that i dont want to ever forget! and she shared her precious experiences in the music ministry. gina and germaine joined us a while later too.
then we met alena, daniel, roger and others. chatted with them for awhile and by the time we went up, the queue had halfway gone in. anyways, we didnt queue, just went in. as in from the front just go in. after praise and worship, katie just told me she could visualise me playing the keyboards up there. i really value these words girl! pastor lian's msg was great. last time i didn't receive a lot from her sermons, but now, it seems i get so blessed by her preaching.
then blah blah blah.. met coach mel, then we left together cause she had a 40% discount in this make-up shop. then we walked to the bus-stop. she's soo sweet! she's taking train, so she should walk by citylink mall right? but she chose to walk with me to my bus stop, then walk in the sun to raffles city.
i was asking her about her Oasis camp, and Coach mel was ADC-ing pastor lian! so she shared with me like she felt really condemned because of the mistakes she made, and how her special requests (for pastor) to the hotel didn't hold so much weigh, cuz she's not in the camp comm and also how blessed she has been by that camp and how sweet pastor lian was. i know exactly how she feels about the condemnation part lah, cuz although i haven't been adc-ing pastor lian for a long time, but i had made mistakes too. like the major one with the music stand when she was preaching.
i wonder what i should design on the MM shirt. as in pierson asked me to do a few designs, then they pick and choose. and i'll be doing the dance part. even though i can't dance lah. cuz i dont want to do skit. please. my acting skills suck and i'd probably just laugh when performing.
