leadership was alright. before that, please lah. i walked soo much for nothing. all cuz pierson changed his mind. anyways, pastor dan is at hillsongs london! so we split up into groups, and had sharing. our group was the smallest! we had only 5 ppl - plus coach julian and jer liang, while the other groups had like 8 or 9! denise and i were the only girls there. it was kinda quiet and a little awkward, cause we didn't know each other very well. coach julian had this list of questions and we just answered them. oh and coach julian also shared abit about ADC-ing for pastor chin, at that time, deacon chin. we were the first group to finish. my leg was numb. and darn terrible lah. and denise had to like help me to walk. whats the english translation for 'fu'? haha. anyways, then we sat down and she told me about her academic results and stuff.
then, we had set-up. okay daniel was trying to tell me something about ADC-ing, but i wasn't listening. haha. anyways, he did tell me eventually, after i bought my food and was eating and listening at the same time. apparently that small mike thing is called a lapel! and he told me how to wire Deaconness Karen. Deaconness came quite soon after, and i didn't even know she came, until i asked coach alice, 'hey did you see daniel?' then she's like.. oh. he's with Deaconness Karen already. i was like omg! haha. okay so i wired her up. and then service started.
then there was ministering. and so, being the ADC, i had to stand in front. i felt so out of place, simply because those ppl who were up there wanted to be ministered, but i was just there standing like an idiot. and then i didn't know when to take her mike, and when to pass it to her. thank god for daniel's help! then there was those praise songs. nick and daniel were telling me to just enjoy and just jump like the rest, but i felt i can't. because what happened previously, was i was right in front with the rest jumping, and then pastor lian just left. i felt soo bad, because well, i didnt walk her out. it seems so small now lah. but i still feel bad. then
later on, coach jason told me that the youths were jumping all over deaconness. and him and coach jayden had to like use their elbows and like 'EH'. and he was looking for me. oopsy. i was right at the other side.
at the end, deaconness was like, 'aiya i was wired up, but i forgot, and used the mike instead.' me: ' oh actually, i wired you wrongly, cause the mike was facing down.' *and points at the lapel* she: ' all things turn out for good.' so thank god she used the mike. thank god it all went smoothly. and really favour with deaconess. and thank you soo much daniel and nick. seriously man. ha. you didn't leave me to rot huh. (= and thanks to coach jason too!
ADC-ing aside, during sermon, laura and i were laughing. omg. i feel so mean now. but seriously lah. this guy i think is angus' newcomer.
When Terence Tee passed the bible to Angus. He accidentally hit this guy's head. cuz well, this guy was in between them. so, cuz his hair was gelled. so he kept on touching and smoothening his hair. laura and i were laughing, cause firstly, he's like only sec 1, and he's soo vain! secondly, his hairstyle is not very nice. his hairstyle was just weird lah. cuz, laura and i were sitting in the row just behind their row. so then, we decided to test out. cuz a bit of his hair was sticking out from the rest, so i asked laura, 'eh, want to pull it?' then laura just merely touched one strand! and then he turned around!! and it was those kind of gentle touch! so i decided to try again after a while, and i touched. and this time he didnt turn around. anyways, we giggled away when during altar call, he kept on touching his hair again. then he heard our giggles, then turned around.
then after service, was just talking with alena and ethel. i finally thanked Coach Val for nominating my name in ADC. i kept on forgetting to say, or the conversation wasn't flowing in that direction. chatted with the pub babes and charissa and johnny. walked with laura, shavonne and irene to citylink. we had to walk back. grrr. cuz of those policemen. shavonne just pointed out to me something. johnny was in Bravo during adcamp, so it's Johnny Bravo. (=
oh btw, today marks my one year anniversary in serving in publicity! look at how much He has accelerated my life and how much i've grown mans!
omg. appparently this group of ppl knew all along that i liked him. i can't say which group lah, if not very obvious already. sheesh. soo embarrassing please. all my fault lah. i should stop making things so obvious.
