yesterday was spent at sentosa! i thought i would be at least 20min late, in the end was 20min early! then after eating breakfast, we went to cold storage to buy stuff for the games. but since it was too ex, we put everything back and went to giant. we were really price conscious okay! and we helped daniel saved lotsa money! hurhur
then angus, laura and i went to join our DG, while the rest of the games comm - daniel, jerald, preston, nigel and dean, went to sentosa first with Zoeiefied. anyways, then huper went, and we played monkey with angus' yellow ball, which is becoming dirty yellow. i dont like ball games!
after awhile, the three of us left, to join the rest of the committee, to set up the games. we were at palawan beach, and there was this sign that said to go tanjung beach, it was 8km! so we freaked out.. duh! and we took the tram, which took only 5 mins. so, it couldn't have been 8 km! anyways, then we set up 4 games, cuz there wasn't time for all 6. angus is such pro mans. for the amount of time he spends in church, his EOYs are darn good can!
although angus and i kinda screwed up the dog and bone game, it's alright, cuz we are not condemned okay, regardless of what others may say. but i do know we grossed a lot of ppl out with the squashed tomatoes, egg yolk and rose syrup.
oh and that captain chicken game, the chicken cut a number of ppl. the chicken was too bony hur.
the finale game was fun. basically, you had to tie a balloon to your leg, and then the others are suppose to burst your balloon. then heidi was the only one that was left, 5 of us from the games comm had the permission to burst her balloon. but she was darn good lah! even though there were 5 ppl surrounding her, her balloon didn't burst okay!
yar then anyways, after the games comm packed up, we left to bathe. angus and i left all the fruits in the sand, cuz we couldn't find them. *grins sheepishly*
oh before that, we took photos. and coach kev thanked all of us. but seriously, glory goes to jesus, because we only planned the games yesterday right before bible study!
anyways, then after we reached mainland, we went harbourfront macs to eat dinner. and claudine joined us! lydia couldn't join us, cuz she was still doing her project.
then since coach mel needed to go to east coast for leader's gathering, i went home with her. i rushed into the train as it was closing okay. no lah, i wasn't scared even though the doors closed on me, and i literally pushed myself through. haha the rest all had really shocked faces. yeah streamlined body amen! :D dean was so funny can. he was running with the train and waving to us!
but unfortunately, dean, claudine, coach mel, and jarett, terence, qingfa, nigel etc, didn't get in, in time. so then at the next stop, outram park, angus, jerald, preston, laura and i got out to wait for the next train to board with them. jerald and preston were darn enthu about games comm sia. 'games com ooi!'; 'games comm tomorrow all wear red arh'.
anyways, coach mel and i dropped off at little india. and please lah i thought it was the other direction, so we walked all the way from little india MRT to farrer park MRT, AND THEN WALKED BACK! goshy goshy. yes, we burned all the calories from the macdonald's meal. anyways, at long last, we boarded bus 48. the bus ride was super fast sia. yar coach and i chatted all the way mans. from the walking to the bus ride, and then the walking to east coast underpass. yup. i walked coach until there, then i walked home.
coach mel pointed out to me that during dinner, coincidentally, she had dinner with all the female MMs! which was something she and coach jayden wanted to do for months already. as in, during dinner, we all split, so laura, claudine, jerlynn, coach mel and i sat together.
thank you lord for the great weather mans. and the fun the youths had. and thank you lord for being with the games comm. thank you lord for your favour upon me.
hey babe, just wanna let u know, that jesus is with you, and it dosen't matter what others say. you're the His beloved, and he wants the best for you. when you can't seem to trust his hands, you trust His heart. His desire for you is that you will prosper in every area of your life. you're righteous, and no one can make you feel unrighteous by what they say. jesus loves you and so do i!
