thank you daddy!
yesterday was huper outing. not exactly outing lar.. more like fellowshipping at terence's house. i came late lah, cuz i had piano prac. i cabbed from AMK station to his house. i was at the void deck finding my way, and i could hear ppl singing leh. and terence lives on the 7th storey! i called manfred like crazy. from like cityhall, then at AMK i called twice, then from his void deck i called twice again. wrong person to call i realised after i arrived at their house and they were all deep in worship, cuz manfred like really worships.
after that we played games! this snapping game, then there was concentration, and there was actionary. fun fun! esp actionary. battle of the sexes, something like the MM outing. of course girls won (= i cant remember everything lah, but the guys made heidi do johnny walker. but smart coach mel! and i think i got the easiest! aloysius poh. haha. yar but we really made the guys guess mans! power rangers was easy, but there were things like shewolf or something along that line. we wanted to do russel peters, but then the game ended. angus super funny. cuz we gave him britney spears, so he did like he poked his finger through, cuz he wanted to show spear. haha! you know we used the pictionary cards for ideas!
yup, then there was dinner after a long while, cuz we waited for the pizza man to come, and we waited for coach mel to come up, cuz she went down cuz one of us needed to eat dinner quickly and go back quick. i didnt expect the pizza bill to be so ex actually, cuz its canandian, which is buy one get one free! it was $87.50. yups. nvm, we're richer than that!
yar then we came to the topic of school and studying. and i always wanted to know, but i always forget to ask. haha how to study. as in, how do i apply the grace of God in studying? i know trust in jesus, i know grace grace, but how exactly do i apply? everytime i come to church i always forget to ask lah. so coach mel and anjo shared abit. awesome sharing, but the sharing wasnt really answering my question. i was at the bus stop alone, because bryan pang seh me. cuz we both could take the same bus, but he took another bus home cuz it came first. yup. i called marika to congratulate her. awesome results and glory to jesus! yar and i also asked her how to study, since that topic was on my mind. i honestly forgot what she said, simply because it didnt speak to me. i mean, it was good godly advice, but it just didnt seem to speak to me. yar like when pastor preaches right, u dont remember everything. you only really remember the ones that speak to you. its the same in this case. so after calling marika, since the bus stop was quite empty, so i talked to daddy. i told him that i really wanted to know how to study, cuz i havent exactly been experiencing breakthroughs in my study life. yar i talked to him about other stuff too. talked from the bus stop all the way to half the bus journey, then after i alighted! i had really an enjoyable time talking to Him, and i really sensed His presence.
and today, He showed me. he used an example to show me. cuz i was practising my piano, cuz tmr is my piano exam. so daddy asked me. tmr is your piano exam, but have you been practising your piano? i said yes.. but do u make mistakes (in your playing)? i said yes. but you trust me right? i said yes again. so he said, 'likewise, study, but when it comes to exam, trust me, even though you have not studied perfectly and dont know 100% of your work.' so yar, i'm gonna trust His grace. this sounds so simple now that i know it, and i realised that i had always complicated things.
personally i feel, that this studying thing right, you need your own revalation one. cuz different ppl have their own style i suppose. actually in a lot of things, you need your own revalation, so do ask God for personal revalations!
