mans, quite a number of stuff has happened since i last posted a fortnight ago.
firstly, blessed birthday to sean, alene, nick, ethel, and angus!
our school's various performing arts groups went for their SYF. today, the dance got gold! but drama dropped to a silver. they should make dance our niche area instead of drama.
i dont know if i've stepped down from CCA yet cos i might (might only!) be going for nationals.
but cca stops for the mid year exam. last week was the last trng.
and last saturday was camp launch! yay i signed up for camp, against all odds! many things were against me.
usually adcamp is in the last week of june, so i thought i couldn't go, because my piano teacher requested that my piano exam be late june, and also because i may have to train for nationals. in addition, my mum was very firm in not allowing me to go for camp. i really thought i couldnt go lah, and kinda accepted that. then as it was closer to the launch date, i realised i really really wanted to go, so i prayed lor.
then i found out that camp is on the 2nd week of june. i thought i couldnt go too, cause i have school in the first two weeks. then one day, i believe it was God lah. i felt like just opening my journal to the school calendar page. and i saw that school ended on the 2nd week, wednesday. i was happy ok, cos camp was on thursday. then two DAREs ago, i found out it was actually from friday to monday. yup. gina told me they change the date. let me quote her 'i also dunno why they change the date, but they just change lor'.
i believe jesus did it for me lah. i know perhaps there are other issues, like the campsite is booked until this date etc. whatever it is, i choose to believe He did it for me.
yups. the weeks have passed soo fast. this week was a little more exciting than other weeks. to me lah.
on monday, my mum and i went to buy metronome, cos the old one is spoilt. haiya i dont even need it lah. we already have the electronic one, then my piano teacher called my mum up, and ask her to buy the mechanical one. damn waste money ok. and metronome is not cheap leh. anyways, then we bought durians. its been a long time since i ate durians. hahas. oh and i sat on bus 21, and it said something like 'The first bus that is wheelchair-friendly' so i'm wondering whether is it this was actually that same bus that came out in the Home section a few months back, or is it another bus 21.
on tuesday, i dropped the testube with the liquid on the floor. and not only did the test tube not break, the liquid didnt even spill one drop. hallelujah. i always wondered why they call the table and chair in the lab bench and stools. very confusing leh the names (:
last night was raining, today was raining. the weather in the morning was quite cold. coincidentally, wendy, huang ye and i were the only ones in the class wearing white jackets, and all three of us were sitting together in the same row. sangeerna, whose sitting next to me also got a white jacket ok! but she didnt wear. haha if not the entire row would all be in white (=
anyways, i wanna go slp. i'm tired tired! and tmr's english MYE.
