heyas! back from camp!
on thursday before camp was the MM videoshoot for the planetshaker's concert! it was fun overall lah. i met yongde at cityhall and we took the train together. then we waited for aloysius who was in the next train, so we can cab together. when we were walking to the cab area, then nigell and arielle were behind us
i managed to climb up that triangle thing, even though i was scared of it at first. haha. and sitting on that thingy to cross to the other side. lol. i bet u have no idea what i'm talking about. from west coast park, we cabbed to clementi mrt. then we went to meet gervais for the huper shirts. they were very nice ok! very very nice! then i went to help heidi and her friend buy fake crocs, then i went home to pack!
on friday going to suntec, the bus was super crowded, and my huge bag took up quite a lot of space, and i almost couldnt go down the bus cos my bag couldnt get through the divider at the stairs of the bus. lol. the MM jacket is really nice! all the MMs and pastor look so sart wearing it.
all thanks to jeremy for the design, and the very nice lady at the shop. really praise jesus for favour with her.
then we went to the campsite. and i reminisced for awhile, the dorms and the toilets and the aeroplanes. haha cos that was my sec 3 campsite!
the games everything was good. the camp comm really put in so much effort. the services were great. i enjoyed Jesus. (: the MMs carried the annointing oil around, and i was walking around carrying the oil on the paper plate, i felt in my spirit, that God dropped something into my heart. a new mantle. and i knew, that i went a new level higer
i was really sleepy all through camp lah, cos i didnt get enough sleep the night before camp. but overall, praise jesus that i went camp. no regrets. and btw, i did abseiling again! our group didnt get to do flying fox though.
JRockz won first, Huper won 2nd, and Zoefied got 3rd, which means Northeast zone won overall!
i'm very proud of zoefied. really. even though they werent in the top 3 placings in the games on both the first and second day, they still managed to get 3rd overall. amazing.
and i'm proud of huper too (but more proud of zoefied. haha) even though we're such a small group, 25 people, and i believe the smallest group of all, with 12 people in huper 2, and 13 in huper 1, but still we did it!
and this proves that you dont have to be competitive to win. haha. our group really very slack. and praise jesus too, for the supernatural bonding between each huper-gen! haha!
i'm proud of the changed youths in my group. esp gideon and gervais, and their new-found friendship. truly, they came in one way, but left a different way. MMs jerlynn and laura are amazing! really see them rise up in this camp. and lihui's gonna become an MM. woohoo! so excited for her.
