Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us. -1 John 1:17-19
i was just listening to a sermon last night on my ipod by pastor prince, and he really opened my eyes lah. i've been asking this question for some time, how do i experience the perfect love of God?
As Christ is, so am I in this world. this is a blank cheque, cos its for you to confess and put anything you want inside! As Christ is healthy, so am i. as christ is favoured, so am i. as christ is not in lack, so am you! and thus because of this, you will have no fear
the reason why as He is, so are you, is because He loves you, and has set you up to be in the same position as christ is. your standing today is not lower than jesus :)
