Monday, July 23, 2007 ; anthem of love
last saturday was dare! i took a nap and woke up at 2pm! i rushed down for pre-service, but when i reached, i dont think there were pre-service activities, just the writing down your dreams and folding it into a star and put it in the bottle. no games or anything. i believe what i wrote down will come true, amen. the sermon had many facts in it. haha i learned lots of interesting stuff.
after the MM meeting, i went for dinner. there was a small bug in my noodles. gosh. i had almost finished already, when i saw it. we saw the fireworks from the NDP! and charis video-ed it! i really thank god for a leader like coach mel, who is there for me (= i was telling her about the difficulties i faced in my studies, and we're trusting God together.
coach mel gave me a verse from proverbs 21:1 ' The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.

to a very special group of people:
-if we are to be the last batch for the time-being, probably for a few more years? i thank god that this batch left something behind, before we step down.
-since we have been groomed by our leaders, let us similarly, groom the rest, so that we can all rise up together.
-we are still ONE!
-once we have been, we always are
-the times spent with you guys are cherished times. i thank jesus for each and everyone of you. <3!

on sunday, i went jamming with some of the people. i felt quite out of place, cos i didnt know how to play a lot of songs. and praise jesus for favour for something that happened.
after jamming, we split up, and some took cab, while the rest of us decided to take public transport. but after awhile, i felt the mrt station was too far, very lazy walk arh. then just nice, 3 of them had already crossed to the other side of the road, while the 3 of us have not crossed yet. so aiya, take cab lah! so preston, cassandra and vivien got into one cab, while dean, brendan and i got into another cab. the cab driver is the chatty kind. but it was abit awkward, cos our chinese is ahem. there wasnt anymore tickets when we reached.
praise jesus for angus and pierson teaching me abit of physics, though i didnt understand most of it. its not their fault, its just that i was listening in class, so i dont know whats going on. and thank you to alex for giving me one dunkin doughnut! anyways, i lunched with denise, beryl, angus and pierson, and went for svc together with them. i was kinda tired during svc, cos i slept at 3am. after svc, we walked to cityhall mrt, then i went to swatch, and then i bus-ed home. okay thats about it :D
