HEYASSSSS!!!!! i've not updated about two weeks ago!
anyway, time has passed soo fast! really. and i have so much fun. praise jesus. i thought after Os, it would be boring. but far from that. jesus answered my prayers.
hmmm let me try and recall what i did! this will probably become a super long entry!
the week when O levels finished, it was just shopping and shopping and more shopping for grad lunch, and heda's birthday. i will post photos in the next post. but anyways, i had loads of fun. there was this super rude sales assistant, who was only interested in serving those who looked rich, but was completely unreasonable to us. hmm and there was the day when all of us were sick of shopping, cos all we really wanted to have, was a good rest after Os, and it was that day, that all of us found dresses for our graduation. and all of us look good, seriously. (: and we saw many people we knew in far east.
and for heda's birthday, cheryl, lisa, sarah, wendy and i went to sarah&lisa's house, to do identical shirts, to wear for heda's birthday the next day. cheryl looi did most of them, and they looked really fab!! heda's sweet sixteen was really sweet! haha. esp with alif by her side right? :) while the rest went cycling, i was the only one that went blading, cos i dont know how to cycle! i got to exercise my leg muscles. heh. but i felt a little unfit, cos i was tired after a short while. but then again, i havent been exercising for ages!
and on sat, was SAJC's open house! after going for the open house, i have second thoughts about wanting to go SA. i now want to go... TJ! heh. i hanged around the place with shi hui for a long long time. i was suppose to go for dare with lehow, mika and the rest, who were also at the open house, but they left early for the ambs meeting. delight and i were late for dare, cos she was waiting for me, and i was uber late. we arrived after p&w! then pastor gab preached. he was soo funny as usual! then we went for dinner! delight, denise and i went to pan pacific to sit on the couches to chat, to use their toilet, and to ride the bubble lift and sit on the steps to camwhore! heh. we fed each other underground info. lol. its soo good to see delight again after so long! then yong de and i went to meet the creative comms ppl, who were still doing the nametags at 9plus. they're so sweet, staying up till so late, to finish the tags. this is one really cool department! heh.
on sunday, i went for first, cos my niece was turning one, and then i was meeting wendy later on in the afternoon to shop, and then i had my sister's concert later on in the evening. i went to service after p&w ended.
on monday, was our graduation!! wendy and i met at my house downstairs, then we took a cab and picked up victoria and charmaine tay. we met heda, cheryl and lisa and sarah at the hotel lobby. we took loadsss of photos. i saw gillian! who was doing admin there. i wanted to take a photo with her... and mika too.. the grad lunch thingy started slightly late. haha i thought it would have started right at 12. they gave us a candle holder/paper weight thingy, with adorned with glass paint. and this really cute keychain. the teachers wrote farewell messages, which were on powerpoint slides, before the ceremony started. then we collected our leaving certs. awwww mans. i'm leaving KC.
anyways, the food was reallllllyyyy yummmyy. the raw salmon, the smoked salmon, the almond jelly and logan desert, and the buffet. it had been quite long since i last ate this kind of food! and the sauces were good too.
haha. then after that, the class chairman and vice chair of each class were making speeches. all of us kept needing to go to the toilet. heh. lots of other people too. after that, right before the singsong started, i had to leave for the airport. i took a cab to my home, to pick my parents and sister up, to leave for the airport, since its all on the way. after picking them up, when i told the cab driver to go to the airport, he got a little annoyed, cos i didnt tell him that earlier, and he had to rush to jurong east to change shifts. oops.
from tuesday to friday, it was in bangkok! nisa saw me at the hotel lobby. but wasnt sure whether it was me. then she said, she called out the word 'dare', but i didnt respond, so she thought it wasnt me. lol. i found that out on sunday, when i lunched together with her.
my lips cracked like crazy in bangkok. its probably the air there.
my dad found a market nearby, when he went walking around, while we were in the hotel room on the first day. so every morning, we would go there and buy fruits.
it was mostly shopping all the way in bangkok. my dad bought lots of shoes, while my mum, sis and i bought clothes there. oh and i bought Shopaholic and Baby. this book i wanted for a year already. it sells for about $30 in singapore, but i bought it for just 295 baht, which is about S$13!
on thursday, we went for lunch at siam central. my parents wanted to eat buffet at this chinese restaurant called dunno what Asia. while my sis and i wanted to eat buffet at sizzler just opposite. both were just as cheap. the sizzler was about 7 singapore bucks per person. so we split up. my mum gave me 500 baht, which was about S$20. and the lunch at sizzler was fantastic. the steak is really tasty and the meat not tough. plus there was a free flow of salad, and soups etc. there was this youghurt dressing for the salad, but i took and ate it as youghurt! and all the soups were good. after the meal, i realised the money was gone! disappeared! i couldnt find it in my pocket, neither around me. then my mind flashbacked, to this time when i was taking soup for my sister, and this man glanced at the floor and continued staring at it. i really didnt think much then. i think it was him who saw the money dropped and most probably took it. thank god my parent's buffet had a time limit of one hour. so after that hour, they came and looked for us. so thank god my mum paid. haha if not i may have to wash dishes! but of course, my parents scolded me.
on fri, we did nothing much, just walked around. my dad didnt really wanted to go and shop cos he wanted to be at the airport early, cos of massive traffic jams in bangkok. from our hotel to the airport, it took us soo long to flag a taxi, cos most taxi's were going towards the opposite direction. on touchdown, we went to macs to eat, then we reached home at about 1am.
on sat, i had to go to tao nan for the myopia project. so i couldnt join the grads at botanic gardens. the whole thing wasnt as bad as i thought. haha after all these years, i think i've finally overcome my fear of eyedrops. but not totally yet. after that, i pretty much couldnt do anything the whole day. so i slept away the entire afternoon. and on sunday, i met nisa for lunch. and for service, i sat right behind in the last row, with the huper 1 babes. haha we made so much noise please! playing this hand game. then, joan, yiting, yong de and i went shopping. so i had two weeks full of shopping! heh.
on monday it was just slacking around at home, reading my marian keyes book, and packing my camp bag. and on tuesday to saturday, it was EJ3 CAMP!! exciting mans.
on tues morning, abel's dad picked me up, together with him and his sis. haha praise jesus. i was early! then i went to ya kun with christon and delight to eat breakfast. i thought i would sleep on the bus journey to malaysia, but charis, nisa and i were busy making too much noise. haha. charis has really infectious laughter. while the rest were sleeping, the three of us aimed to play tai-tee until we were sick of it, and we giggled at the silliest things. we stopped at a toilet along the way, and that toilet was full of flies. darn gross! the toilet at the restaurant was much cleaner. after lunching at this chinese restaurant, we went on our way again. this time, other ppl were playing games, so i couldnt sleep. but thats ok, cos i wasnt really in need of sleep.
i remembered on wed nite, i was high, but on thursday, i was stoning sia. haha.
haha thats about it. ok, in general, the food is quite good, although i didnt have much appetite during the camp. and the games were fun and interesting. but not too dirty, thank god. :) the bed is superb. i woke up later than usual everyday, cos the bed was soo comfy. the showering facilities were good too. and the room is soo spacious!
the services are annointed :) praise jesus i'm set apart, because i'm annointed. during ministering, God just spoke words that i really really needed to hear. as usual, i didnt really know those were what i needed to know, until i heard them.
charis bunked in our room too! just like in NGL. heh. and on the last night, nisa and charis slept in our room too! the last night is really fantastic. i just have to blog all of that down! haha.
we had the theme, mismatch, misfit, misundestood. all of us looked weird, and we took lotsa photos. and i think it was joan, who purposely put lipstick carelessly. so i looked really weird. and delight helped me draw eyebags using eyeliner.
after service, the rest played duck and goose, while i was learning how to tie a tie, because i had forgot. then, delight and i helped to burst balloons! it was sooo fun! then, they all came to our room to play bridge. nicola and valerie were super patient in teaching all of us. and bridge is ultra fun and super addictive! then at about 4plus in the morning, i was tired, and charis and i decided to go for a swim. while the rest were at the poolside, playing cards. the water was super cold. brrrrrrrrrr. at 6, they switched off the lights in the swimming pool. at 6.15, some level 3 and 4 boys came. at 6.30, the hotel ppl came, and asked us to get out, and told us that we could get back in at 7. but then, we went back to the hotel room. i slept for about 1+ hours.
the next day on the way back, i felt the journey was really short! we played tai-tee, then 99, then i slept for awhile, which is really a short while, cos i slept for about 4 song tracks only. but i felt much more energetic when i woke up. then we played mafia, then bridge! after reaching suntec and getting bubble teas, we continued playing. haha.
i really felt the grad babes bonding. and we were soo close. we would sit at the same table together every meal. praise jesus for kingdom friendships. i love each and everyone of you. charis, nisa, joan, valencia, janey, charlotte, le-ying, nicola, shiyun, alicia. and my fantastic roomies, delight and valerie! you babes are the best! delight, thanks for being my roomie every single year-end camp, all the way from NGL, Evangelion, EJ1, EJ2, EJ3. we've seen each other grown in the Lord. and i'll always remember you as the first friend i met in nursery too! and valerie, its great to see you again, after like how many years! my PK friend has grown! haha. i really cant wait to see all of us grow from glory to glory!
and now, its my last camp. i've grown and changed soo much! praise jesus! haha i could start a whole new entry just on this!
haha anyways, this week has been great too! on monday night, i met angus and claudine at orchard. angus just wanted to exchange crumpler bags back, then he zhao-ed. claudine and i spent some quality time together. hahaha! we catched up! and omg i miss her so much. we chatted till the shops around us closed. lol. and i got charmaine tay's birthday present.
on tuesday, i went out with my mum for lunch. and at the same time, i cut my hair! i look really different. haha. then i was at home, reading shopaholic and baby!
on wednesday, valencia walked right past me, cos she couldnt recognise me! haha. all the grad babes went to sakae sushi buffet at wheelock. after eating for about an hour, we played bridge, then continued eating for the last half an hour. it was really fun! we cam-whored too! and i really miss sushi! after that, joan, valencia, alena, nisa and i took a train down one stop, to somerset, while the rest went to dhoby ghaut to play arcade, and nicola and charis went home. nisa and i watched joan and alena getting their brows threaded. haha. nisa wanted to do too, but she didnt. then, joan and i went to the arcade to play that racing car game. it was reallly fun! cos we werent playing it with guys. haha. then we walked around and shopped. we saw interesting t-shirts. i bought this pair of shorts which i dont want it now. haha. then we bus-ed home together. i enjoyed talking to joan!
today was spent swimming at nisa's club with charis and her. her mum paid the guest fee for us, which was $5 each for charis and i. i like her club's gym. haha. and today i feel really unfit. i guess its cos i havent been exercising for months. and a little exercise gets me tired. and i put on a lot of weight. gosh. i really need to lose weight. all of us did this test, which is suppose to be more accurate than BMI, which the fitness instructor did for us, and i have 16kg of fats!! omg. anyways, we swam too. i tried the diving board, but i still cant do it properly. then i rained. so we went back inside to the changing room and cam-whored there. we went to the sauna room too. haha it can be quite difficult to breathe the higher u are, cos hot air rises! when we went out and wanted to swim, it was still raining, and after sitting on the chairs and looking at charis solve my rubik's cube, we went to bathe. then charis and i went to macs to eat, and to colds storage to buy food, then her dad fetched me to serangoon mrt!
