Sunday, March 16, 2008 and on thurs, i met shi hui for lunch. haha its at this coffeeshop in the industrial area, near her workplace, and near where i used to work. i havent seen her since end of last year! and i ate my favourite mixed rice. the last time i ate it was 3 months ago, and i miss it. haha. the food in the industrial area is really good. and as usual, i did my food-shopping after that, cos there is this long stretch of shops, selling really good pastries and chin chow and snacks. and on fri, was class outing and bbq. but not many people turned up. there was just enwei, cheryl, yixi, zhiyong, felicia, chia-pei and i. we watched spider-wick. its quite a good movie, although i did wanted to watch step-up too! and then we went food-shopping at carrefour, where we bought food for the bbq, and then after taking a very very long time, and losing chia-pei and felicia in the midst, we proceeded to yixi's condo. angelina met us at cityhall station! haha that yixi dosent take bus, so he didnt know that bus 70 stops right outside his house from suntec, so we took train to paya lebar, and walked quite a distance to his house, which is situated between kallang and paya lebar! and then we bbq-ed and ate chips and more chips! chia-pei, felicia and angelina left first, then after cleaning-up, we went to yixi's hse. but since the rest were about to start PS3, i left first (: and on sat, there was arrow! when marika told me that pastor dan was leaving dare, i totally couldnt believe it!! he's gonna be the worship pastor, and pastor chin is going to take over dare. i was very shocked when i heard that, cos i really cant imagine dare without pastor dan. but i know that the lord is raising the youth ministry to greater heights, and i know that it will grow from glory to glory! anyways, service was good, and i learnt many new things. and of course on sunday i went for 1st service, then i met charis and jo. and then i left earlier, and i stopped at the wrong stop in pasir ris. ok thats the end of my march hols! ; anthem of love
The march hols seemed to have passed really really fast! i remembered on wednesday, when cherlynn reminded me it was wednesday, i couldnt believe it. it felt like monday!
anyways, let me blog about my march hols (:
on monday, i met up with claudine! i havent seen her for two months. haha. since we went to queensway and ikea in jan. i went to temasek poly and met her there. i remembered when i was sec 1, i got lost there, so thank god now i have claudine as my tour guide! the design's school really nice, compared to nyp. haha. and we ate from the western stall at the business school. the food's cheap and not bad. and the student council's centre is a building itself. so cool right??! after eating we went to tampines mall and watched leap years. i never thought the show would be that good, cos its quite a local show, but it is good! and the thing i like is that the movie follows closely with the book. most movies dont, and thats why the books are usually better than the movies.
on tues was class chalet! thank god we managed to check in, even though none of us were 18 yet. the chalet's quite nice for we celebrated tessa's birthday! cat, tessa and i went out to buy instant noodles, while the rest prepared for tessa's party. and then when we were about to reach, we forgot to call the rest! so when we reached, they took really long to open the door, and tessa guessed it was her surprise birthday party! but anyway, it still fun and very very messy. all the guys and tessa and cher had cake over them! and the walls had cake, the floor, the bedsheets and pillows and our belongings had chocolate cake too! it was soo messy!! so we spent loads of time cleaning up, and then cutter had a great idea to call for housekeeping. and all it took was 10 bucks for the lady to change the bedsheets and pillowcases, put fresh towels, clean up the oily and wet floor, and cleaned the toilet and everything. and cher and i tipped her 5 bucks cos she did such a great job! mr ching came too, after we messed up the whole place. after waiting for everyone to wash up, we went to eat kfc for dinner. and charis and amanda came! and amanda brought more food and drinks! and after that, the rest went to play pool/arcade, while amanda, charis and i went to eat ben and jerry's ice cream! then we went back with xinying and cutter and we played cards! and then the rest came back eventually, and i think we played cards. and after that, the rest went to pasir ris park, while charis, amanda and i slept. haha. then when the came back, i went to walk around with cher. and then we came back and kianhow, cher and i went to eat breakfast at macs. that was about 6.30am already. then after eating we were tired and we went back to the chalet to sleep abit. then later at like 10.30, we checked out and went for breakfast at macs cafe. then we played arcade/pool, but charis and i left early.
