my past few days was an eventful one.
on saturday we were suppose to meet at 12.30pm, in the end, everyone came really really late except for yeu keed. i wanted to go army market to buy my favourite fbts back, since i lost my action gear in the malaysian carpark at lambak. in the end i didnt buy cos it was raining heavily and i fell asleep. in the end, i found my fbts, but i couldnt find the pe shirt. that pe shirt holds a lot of memories for me - june xp, nov xp, nvm, mar xp. i always wear the same pe shirt cos the threads are coming out because it gets caught when i brush against thorns and etc.
anyways, svc was good, it was exactly what i needed to hear. there's this cool new guy from cj rugby, from 1t15. he's cool cos he takes french as his mother tongue, even though he's indian. after dinner i was talking to jo, but i couldnt really offer much help cos i myself am confused.
on sunday, i wanted to have a nice slack morning but in the end due to this sms i got, i decided to be nice and i went to suntec earlier. service passed in a blur. ireen talked to me after service. we had a really long chat, and she just listened to all my problems so so patiently. after that long talk, i felt so much better than i had the past week. i am reminded of many things again in that talk that we had.
monday was the start of term 2. i realised the talk i had with ireen on sunday was at the right time, cos it cleared my mind and i feel much better for the start of term 2. monday was really draggy. we had napfa during pe. my whole class was dreading it. i wanted to practise 2.4km with the guys but my pe teacher said no. so the girls did 5 items while the guys did their 2.4km. felicia helped me alot for sit&reach. i rmb last year she helped me to get an A, this year too. and joanne's shoe miraculously helped me to jump 20cm more than last year. i have never jumped so far in my entire life. although i didnt get an A, this is good enough for me because i cant jump. i rmb in pri 5, i couldnt even pass my standing broad jump. my shuttle run was much better than last year's. it felt so much easier too. i think last year i ran faster though. overall, i feel this year's napfa is easier than last year's.
today is tues and we have our first lesson with our first permanent gp teacher. he had been teaching in cj for 15 years before he left in 2007, and now he's back again. i really dont know how i am gonna survive. we can only sit straight in class with no elbows on the table, with A4 sized notebooks on our desks open. i crossed my legs and he made me uncross them. i slept in class today sitting straight. couldnt take it anymore. and today's just the first lesson.
after sch i went to eat gelare with olivia, sarah and zhiyong. i havent eaten half-priced waffles for a really long time! and then we ate chippy's. we walked around far east and wisma. olivia and sarah share the similar tastes in clothes. and zhiyong is really nice to come with us, even though it wasnt in his interest at all.
i tried to make a decision on mon. i couldnt. i asked sarah for advice but in the end i got more confused after what she told me. so what happens tmr will determine the decision i make.
tmr is maurice's cross country. i'm so excited for him!! i wish we could be there to support him but we cant cos this year they changed it to the morning. i wonder how he must be feeling now. excited, nervous, jittery...
wow, first time in a long time that i typed such a long post. today is a day of many firsts. first time i'm talking to joanne woh online, first time olivia ate gelare waffles, first time with a new gp teacher, first time i knew of a class whose pe got cancelled, only to come back to sch early the next morning for pe before school. ok i'm side-tracking. anyway, its late and i have to finish my chart for tmr's knowledge lesson.
