the few of us who camped over at alvin's hse reached changi village at about 6.30am. but by the time we walked to the terminal, it was nearly 7am. once we reached ubin, we helped to transport the bikes from the shop to the basketball court. it was fun doing that :) we made about 7 trips cycling then walking back to the shop.
i rmb last year prashan came along to help me with the cycling, cos i just learnt how to cycle last year before pulau ubin day. this year i improved but still not very good. oh no i dont know how i'm gonna cycle for atc. kenneth was very nice to exchange his bike with mine, so i can go upslope without pushing my bike up. i fell down once too, but i had no cuts, just 2 huge bruises. we completed all the tasks too! we were 2nd. eugene is very very good! he knows pulau ubin quite well, and everytime we are at a fork road and there is a map nearby, he has to just glance at the map for like one sec, before knowing whether to turn left or right. and he is always correct. doing the 60 push-ups on the highest point in ubin, overlooking the quarry was quite fun too! 60 push-ups cos the highest point is 60m!
after the whole thing we took the boat back to changi village and we ate a lot. then i took the train with linh, zhiyong, mathias and michelle. linh slept standing up, with his head tilted back and his mouth wide open.
i trained to suntec and i went for service. the sermon was good, and what pastor preached spoke to me. it was just so in line with what i had felt for a few weeks already. and i felt as if a part of me that had withered, had just experienced a renewal of life again. everyone was very high. after service, we went to millenia walk to eat. initially i didnt want, cos the food there isnt very nice, but the food turned out to be quite ok. i guess its because last time after service the whole youth ministry would always go there to eat, and i was so sick of the food there. this happened for like 3 years. then we changed places, but now we're going back there again. i'm glad we went there cos the whole jc cluster was there, and i talked to some ppl that i havent talked to for quite awhile. and we celebrated denise's birthday! her birthday is on monday and she has a match with SA, so we prayed for her (: and kaijie wanted to buy frisbee, so he asked me for the guy's no. i got it from donna. then when he called, there was this weird ringtone. i listened to it too but i didnt know what it was. it turned out that the guy was in thailand. hahaha! we wasted 20sec of his phonebill. after everything, joanne and i took bus home tgt. i was so tired and i slept straight after bathing.
today i woke up late and i did some newspaper questions for the j1s, then i compiled all the questions from everyone and picked out 27 qns to send to sean to edit and format it. i realise this is a good idea because sean doesnt have newspapers. two weeks ago, i took over 2h just to edit and format it. anyway, yongde asked me to join him and joel for lunch at 12.45pm, and i said ok without realising it was already 12.15pm then. and then i have no idea what i did, but i left hse at like 12.50pm. but i managed to reach suntec at 1.14pm (: i ate claypot rice and i scalded my finger by touching the sides of the claypot. anyways, i like today's service (: pastor lian is really funny, and today's service was so entertaining. today taught me the importance of the what you see and hear, again. after service is the usual thing (: then after a long while i took bus home with denise ng. i havent taken bus with her for like one year already, and yesterday was the first time i talked to her since months. i'm so happy for her cos i know she's enjoying herself in vjc. she told me the sports ccas are crazy, and their odac and rockclimbing girls run 5km every training. woah thats a whole 1km more than our girl's level runs. i reached home about 6.20pm and then i ate dinner and watched 17 again. the first part darn sucky but the rest of the movie is very nice. i havent gone for tuition since we left for march xp. i dont think i'll go until term 3. maybe even then, i'll still be too lazy to go (:

now i gotta try finish my mountain level 3 book by tonight, called "into thin air". i read it last year, and i'm reading it now, cos this was the only book available. i gotta return it by tmr and i'm not even halfway through.
