this afternoon i met sarah at city hall mrt. but i arrived there really early so while waiting for her i went to shop around at raffles city. i thought i would be sick of shopping alr after shopping so much in bangkok, but there were huge discounts all around and i bought a top from river island. and we ate so much ice cream today! btw i want to go find students discounts to enjoy before the year is over! we walked all around suntec and marina square and millenia walk too and of course we bought more stuff. and everytime i go to candy empire i am so tempted to buy things there. but this time i manage to control myself only cos i need to buy bus concession (:
then after that i went home and i went to meet my brother for dinner at the grand mecure roxy hotel cos we have free vouchers there. its a 4 course meal for 2 people. the food is not something i would normally eat. it was like crab salad and pumpkin soup and ostrich meat and dumpling noodles and fried durian ice cream. but in the end the food was really yummy. and after talking to my brother and finding out more about university life, i think i have a clearer idea of which course i would want to take and i'm glad i talked to him about it. and it was the first time in my entire life i walked out of a restaurant just like that - without even asking for the bill; just right after eating (:
